So this is all new to me. For some time now I've been thinking daily about, "well, if I had a blog, I would write about this today. If I had a blog, I would definitely take a picture of this outfit - either good or bad."
And so here I am now. Trying to find my way.
I am continuing to brainstorm about what shape this blog will actually take. Definitely fashion. Love, love, love.
Maybe other stuff too, though I'm not sure today what that will be. Guess we will see how it goes.
And since I'm still writing for one person, I guess I have some time to figure it all out.
So, thanks for walking along with me as I find my way.
Tomorrow we have a big event at work. Normally it's casual Friday, but this big event will require a little more than casual Friday attire.
Here's some items similar to what I've got planned.
I bought a chocolate brown suit at Dillards a few years back. Let's see - 2006. It was a remarkable deal on clearance. I know I paid less than $100 for both pieces and probably much less than $100, I just can't remember exactly how much. Great structure on the Antonio Melani suiting separates. These are the pieces they have now - just not the color I purchased.
Underneath I will be wearing a chocolate brown and metallic gold, fitted, v-neck sweater. Purchased at "The Impeccable Pig" in Plano in 2006 as well, also on sale. This J. Crew version is the closest I could find.
Still undecided about the shoes and accessories. Oh, and just in case you're wondering, I tried on the open-toed shoes with tights the other day when I wore my sheath dress. My fashion forward 6 year-old said, "Um, Mom, you should change those." And I did. Smart girl.
