April 29 @ 11:52 p.m.

This boy...he stole my heart.

Happy birthday to you, Lego Man. You are creative, imaginative, industrious, independent, strong-willed, and in so many ways - you prefer to color inside the lines.

By that last part, I mean this:

You prefer obedience.
You prefer order.
You prefer structure and routine over chaos and spontaneity.

You are precious.
You are loved.
You are the one, little guy who started our family...

We are so blessed by you.

You have the best smile.
You have the biggest heart.

And you are always, always asking lots of questions.
And I love that about you...along with so many other things.

Happy birthday, sweet boy!

Superman to the rescue

My little man is 4. He's a big boy now. Went to bed all on his own tonight.
He is slightly obsessed with Superman. And as far as I'm concerned, he can be Superman indefinitely.

We love you sweet boy. You bring such joy to our lives. Daily we thank God for blessing us with you.

(While this post has nothing to do with anything I normally post about, it has everything to do with me. I'm wife to my husband and mom to my kids...and that's who I am every day.)
