Homeschool: Craft & Semester Test Week

It's our last week of school before our two-week Christmas break. While I have all their lessons and tests planned out, I decided Sunday morning that five days of crafting would be fun. And some we will keep and some we will give as gifts. I was inspired by some wonderful ideas on Pinterest...of course.

You can find me on Pinterest here. I love Pinterest. I do. I spend lots of time there. It's my TV.

These are snapshots from my Homeschool Art Pinterest board. These are the projects we are doing this week. Well, actually, these are the ones we can choose from. And I will be back this week with photos from our crafting extravaganza because tests are no fun to photograph.

1. handprint Christmas tree
2. soup can Christmas tree
3. paper strip Christmas tree
4. polka dot Christmas tree on brown paper
5. crayon shaving melted art
6. sparkly confetti art
7. Christmas tree with beads, sparkly things, confetti, sequins and much more

Last week...

Last week my oldest went out of town with my parents for a quick overnight jaunt.

He loved the one-on-one time with them.

So Wonder Woman, Superman and I spent a lot of time playing and making stuff.

They fixed my hair. They colored their own hair with washable dye. And we melted beads to make plates.

So much fun we had.
