P365:98-102

The kids had a great Valentine's Day party with other homeschool kids from our group. It's a brilliant idea, I tell you. Last year was the first year we participated. Everyone meets at the local mall food court at 10 a.m. Each person signs up to bring something (i.e. sprinkles, cookies, plates, napkins, etc.).

The kids decorate bags for Valentines, they decorate a cookie and eat it, and then they exchange the Valentines they brought. Each kid brings 24, and everyone goes home with more than enough.

It was such a fun time! It's one of my favorite homeschool activities each year. And I do believe the hype about red food coloring. My normally wonderful kids were crazy and impulsive after the party. Mommy needed a time out.
