The only plant I've ever been able to keep alive is this one. A Christmas cactus. It was a hostess gift from my parents when we celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary here at our house. It was a wonderful occasion. Several of their closest friends came to celebrate with them and us. It was so special. And of all the plants I'm glad I've managed not to kill, I'm glad it's this one.
